FAQs

What genre of books do you review?

I review any and all books! Be it classic, YA, science fiction, fantasy, romance, poetry, memoirs, etc. I am always looking for new styles.

Can you review a book I request?
If you have a book you would like for me to review, feel free to comment on any pages! I check comments frequently, so I would see it at some point. I'd be happy to read the book. My only note, though, is that if I don't have the book/cannot access it immediately, I may take a little bit to post until I can find (and read) the novel. Also, I only review sequels if I've read the first/previous book and have made a post on it.

Do you review graphic novels?

Absolutely! I may not make as many posts on graphic novels, but if you have a suggestion for a graphic novel, I will certainly check it out! Same thing mentioned above, though-- if I cannot get immediate access to the novel, it may take me some time to post about it.

Do you review manga?

I am extremely new to the manga universe, so I'm still exploring all the options and styles. At the moment, I am not reviewing manga, simply because I'm still new to it, and I want to grow a little more accustomed to the normalities in manga before I begin reviewing it. I promise I will let you all know if I do start reviewing manga!

When do you post?

I try to post on Saturdays. Occasionally, I'll post a day before/after if something comes up.

Do you give reviews/quotes for authors?

Apologies, but I don't. I'm not a professional and I don't intend to become a full-time reviewer. I would love to review the book once it has been published, though!

Have you published any novels?

Not yet! I do have a novel in progress which I plan to self-publish, however, I'm not finished with it.

Do you give recommendations?

Often, I mention at the start of my posts if I would recommend the book to a certain group of people, or just book lovers in general. But if you are struggling to find a book or simply want something fresh, feel free to reach out and ask!

Do you give away spoilers?

I absolutely do! Apologies, but I do give away major plot points in most of my reviews. It makes things much easier. However, at the beginning of my reviews, I often include a short couple of sentences of what I thought of the book without any spoilers, so that is always there if you would like just a quick glance at a novel.

Do you prefer certain styles/authors/etc over others?

Not necessarily. I try to keep an open mind when it comes to books. Hence why I often don't read the blurb of a book, as I prefer flying in blind so no bias can interfered with my choice of the novel. I usually begin a novel Dr by title, cover, or author alone. Personally, I have always had an affinity for novels with magic in them, or future worlds. Of course, many incredible books I've read were set in our world, so I definitely would love to read any books, truly.
